Unedited makes podcasts, radio shows and documentaries. Fun, format-driven shows alongside complex, editorially demanding stories that need real care. The studio has worked with Spotify, Amazon, the BBC, Acast, talkSPORT and the PFA, and has been nominated Production Company of the Year twice, taking silver in 2022 and bronze in 2024.

Credits include Coming in From The Cold for talkSPORT, a documentary series on the history of Black footballers in English football; Sounds of Black Britain for Spotify; and BBC Sounds' 1Xtra Throwback Party. Unedited has also delivered Spotify's Sound Up programme for the UK and Ireland for three consecutive years, training the next generation of podcast creators.

Pilot Season puts commissioners, sponsors and audiences in front of original creator-led audio concepts before they scale — full-length pilot episodes of new formats and narratives, produced to a standard that makes the case for themselves. It won the Gary Younge Facts That Matter Journalism Prize at the Orwell Prizes in its launch year.

In its second year, five independent companies — Breaking Atoms, Kingtown, Mags Creative, Reduced Listening and Unedited — joined forces under the Pilot Season banner. Titles produced include Sarah Rector, a documentary on the first Black child millionaire, written by Maxine Watson (African Queens, Netflix) and narrated by Deborah Ayorinde (Them, Amazon); the scripted comedy-horror Dead Ting; and the audio sitcom BIN JUICE. Pilot Season moved to its own home at pilotseason.audio in 2025.
